Meet our new intern!

Megan Delvin is an amazing lady! Not only is she our event planning intern this summer, but she also has a Communications Fellowship in San Francisco through which she will be working with Meals on Wheels. Read her bio (written by the lady herself) and be prepared to be blown away by!

Megan is a senior Communications Management and Design major at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. This past academic year, she was an event planner for her college’s Senior Week, a weeklong event comprised of nine events in six days. Megan was also the Advocacy Chair for Colleges Against Cancer, planning educational and outreach events around cancer policy and legislation, as well as her college’s Relay for Life. She also is an active contributor to her college’s student media, especially the campus newspaper The Ithacan, which she will lead as Editor in Chief this upcoming year. As a human rights activists and change-maker, Megan has used media to discuss the importance of permaculture, warn about the dangers of fracking and explain other environmental justice issues. She has also worked with a variety of nonprofits in the Ithaca area, serving as a consultant to improve their communications strategy, volunteer engagement and public outreach efforts. In her free time, Megan is either running on wooded trails or digging her face into a good book or magazine article. (She has also become a bit of a beer snob, and prefers West Coast brews to East Coast ones).

We're lucky to have her and we look forward to sharing more of her successes with you as the summer continues!
