Thank you for helping support the next generation of cooperators and building this thriving movement!
As students plan, organize, and create change on their college campuses, we’d like to ensure their efforts are supported with a network of expertise! Mentors are people who would like to give advice to student organizers and CoFED staff in areas of food, cooperatives, grassroots organizing, business, and leadership development. Check out who is in each region's Mentor Network through each region's page.
We ask for your light, occasional support to student teams and/or Regional Organizer Fellows, drawing on your experience. This might consists of a few short calls or brief emails for a maximum of 2 hours per month. Students come to their Regional Organizer looking for advice and resources, and if a little extra problem-solving help is needed, the RO can connect students to people in the Mentors Network with matching expertise. For Regional Organizers in CoFED’s Fellowship, Mentors can act as local, professional coaches to their learning and development as young leaders in this movement.
